our philosophy

As well as real homecooking, well-kept beer and good wines, (which is what we try to provide) we also believe in value for money – we aim to price ourselves competitively.

A warm and relaxing pub is what we aim for, somewhere you can spend all the time you’ve got, and then hopefully come back when you have more! We view this as our home and we welcome you into our front room!

We are also very keen on recycling in what is often an environmentally expensive industry. We always try to recycle as much as we are able and eliminate as much waste as we all can.

Despite the new licensing laws we still hold ‘traditional’ hours, however if we are particularly busy or are holding a party or function we may serve longer.
